These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern access to and use of Epicurious (the "Service"), including its landing pages, dashboard, CLI tooling, documentation, and any related repositories, whether accessed locally, via a self-hosted deployment, or via any publicly hosted instance. By accessing, browsing, cloning, installing, running, or otherwise using the Service, checking the "I accept the terms and conditions" box, or submitting the waitlist form, you ("User," "you") agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
These Terms apply in addition to, and do not replace, any separate open-source license that governs the underlying source code (see Section 7, Intellectual Property).
You represent that you are at least 18 years old, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction, and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms, and "you" refers to both you individually and that organization.
Epicurious is a rebuild of the open-source ECC agent harness, distributed for training and educational purposes. It provides a local dashboard and CLI for browsing, importing, and creating AI agents, skills, and slash commands intended for use with Claude Code, Antigravity, and compatible foundation-model tooling. The Service may integrate with local model runtimes (e.g., Ollama), third-party skill marketplaces (e.g., skills.sh, agentskills.io), source-control platforms (e.g., GitHub), and third-party scanning tools (e.g., SkillSpector).
The Service is provided on a self-hosted, run-it-yourself basis. Unless a specific hosted instance states otherwise, no central server stores, processes, or transmits your data — it runs on infrastructure you control. You are solely responsible for the configuration, security, and operation of any instance you run.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the Service for lawful purposes, including personal, educational, and internal business use, consistent with the underlying open-source license.
The Service can import skills, agents, commands, and repositories from third-party sources, including skills.sh, agentskills.io, GitHub, PDF/DOCX/TXT documents processed via book-to-skill, and other sources you configure. Imported content is passed through an automated scanning gate (e.g., SkillSpector) before being written to disk.
Automated scanning is not a guarantee of safety. No automated tool can detect all malicious, defective, or non-compliant content. You are solely responsible for independently reviewing any imported or generated content before executing it, granting it permissions, or relying on it in any production, financial, medical, legal, safety-critical, or otherwise sensitive context. Epicurious and its maintainer disclaim all liability for harm arising from imported or generated content, whether or not it passed an automated scan.
"User Content" means any information you submit to the Service, including waitlist email addresses, prompts, uploaded documents, generated skills, and configuration data.
As of the date of these Terms, the waitlist form does not transmit submitted data to any persistent database or third-party processor operated by Epicurious; submission triggers a client-side confirmation only. This may change in the future, in which case this section and the Privacy section will be updated to describe how waitlist data is collected, stored, and used, and you will be notified via an updated "Last updated" date above.
You retain ownership of your User Content. By submitting User Content where a persistence or transmission mechanism does exist (now or in the future), you grant Epicurious a limited, non-exclusive license to store and process that content solely for the purpose of operating the specific feature you used (e.g., contacting you about the waitlist), and you represent that you have the right to submit it.
Epicurious is a rebuild of Affaan Mustafa's open-source ECC harness. The underlying source code is distributed under the open-source license included in its repository (see the linked GitHub repository for the current license text — [CONFIRM AND NAME EXACT LICENSE, e.g. MIT/Apache-2.0]). Nothing in these Terms is intended to restrict any right explicitly granted to you under that license; where these Terms and the open-source license conflict on matters of code use, modification, and redistribution, the open-source license controls.
The Epicurious name, logo, and any distinct branding on this site (as opposed to the underlying ECC codebase) are [PLACEHOLDER: state ownership — e.g., "the property of Guy Chenya" or an entity name]. You may not use the Epicurious name or logo to imply endorsement without prior written permission.
THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ALL AGENTS, SKILLS, COMMANDS, DOCUMENTATION, AND OUTPUT GENERATED BY OR THROUGH IT, IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Without limiting the foregoing, Epicurious and its maintainer do not warrant that: (a) the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free; (b) any agent, skill, or command — whether curated, imported, or AI-generated — will be accurate, safe, complete, or fit for any particular purpose; (c) any defects will be corrected; or (d) the Service or the servers that make it available are free of viruses or other harmful components. You use the Service, and any output it produces, entirely at your own risk.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL EPICURIOUS, ITS MAINTAINER, CONTRIBUTORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR ACCESS TO OR USE OF, OR INABILITY TO ACCESS OR USE, THE SERVICE, WHETHER BASED ON WARRANTY, CONTRACT, TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), STATUTE, OR ANY OTHER LEGAL THEORY, AND WHETHER OR NOT EPICURIOUS HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, EPICURIOUS'S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID, IF ANY, TO ACCESS THE SERVICE IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS (USD $100). BECAUSE THE SERVICE IS FREE AND OPEN-SOURCE, THIS AMOUNT IS EXPECTED TO BE ZERO IN MOST CASES.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you. In such jurisdictions, liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law.
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Epicurious, its maintainer, contributors, and affiliates from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your access to or use of the Service; (b) your User Content; (c) any agent, skill, or command you import, generate, deploy, or distribute using the Service; (d) your violation of these Terms; or (e) your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party.
The Service integrates with or links to third-party services, including but not limited to skills.sh, agentskills.io, GitHub, SkillSpector (NVIDIA), book-to-skill, Ollama, Claude Code, and Antigravity. Epicurious does not control and is not responsible for the content, availability, security, or practices of these third parties. Your use of any third-party service is governed by that party's own terms and privacy policy. Inclusion of a link or integration does not imply endorsement.
The Service uses AI models (local, via Ollama, or otherwise) to generate skill definitions, summaries, chat responses, and other content. AI-generated output may be inaccurate, incomplete, biased, or entirely fabricated ("hallucinated"). You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating any AI-generated content before relying on it, deploying it, or granting it any level of trust or system access. Epicurious makes no representation that AI-generated content is accurate, safe, or suitable for any purpose.
Because the Service is designed to run locally and self-hosted, in its default configuration it does not transmit your prompts, files, or generated content to Epicurious or its maintainer — data stays on infrastructure you control, except where you explicitly configure a third-party integration (e.g., a cloud model provider, or a skill/repo import from a third-party source).
The waitlist form on the landing page collects an email address you voluntarily submit. As described in Section 6, as of the date of these Terms this submission is not transmitted to or stored by Epicurious server-side. [PLACEHOLDER: if/when a real waitlist backend is added, publish a dedicated Privacy Policy describing what is collected, how long it is retained, who it is shared with, and how users can request deletion — this is likely required under GDPR, CCPA, and similar laws if you collect personal data from users in those jurisdictions.]
Because the Service is self-hosted software, "termination" primarily means you uninstalling or ceasing to run it, which you may do at any time. If a hosted instance of the Service is made available, Epicurious reserves the right to suspend or terminate access to that instance, at its discretion, for any user who violates these Terms, without prior notice, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including Sections 7–11 and 13) will survive.
These Terms may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Service after a change becomes effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to a change, your sole remedy is to stop using the Service.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. This is a free, open-source project made available for training and educational purposes, not a commercial consumer service — no mandatory arbitration, class-action waiver, or jury-trial waiver is imposed. Instead, before filing any formal claim, you agree to first contact the maintainer at info@reliatrack.org and attempt in good faith to resolve the dispute informally for at least thirty (30) days.
If informal resolution fails, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware, USA, and you and Epicurious each consent to personal jurisdiction there. Nothing in this section limits either party's right to seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court of competent jurisdiction, including to protect intellectual property rights. If you are a consumer resident in a jurisdiction (such as the EU, UK, or elsewhere) whose law grants you additional non-waivable consumer-protection rights or a right to bring claims in your local courts, this section does not remove those rights.
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. No waiver of any term shall be deemed a further or continuing waiver of that term or any other term. These Terms, together with any incorporated open-source license, constitute the entire agreement between you and Epicurious regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
